Crime Reports (Insurance)


Victoria Police provides a service to individuals and organisations wishing to obtain information about property loss or damage that occurred in Victoria and was reported to Victoria Police.

Any person who suffers property damage or property loss may apply for a copy of a report detailing the damage or loss, or may authorise a person to represent them and apply on their behalf.

Victoria Police applies strict guidelines to the release of any information it holds, to individuals and organisations outside Victoria Police.


Search for a crime report - Organisation use

This form should be completed and lodged with Victoria Police by organisations or persons representing individuals who need a copy of the report compiled by Victoria Police, listing the reported details of damage or loss of their property.

This form should be completed and lodged with Victoria Police, by individuals who need a copy of the report compiled by Victoria Police, listing the reported details of damage or loss of their property.

Subrogation Notice

This form is used by insurance companies to notify Victoria Police of a transfer of ownership of stolen goods once an insurance claim has been settled.

Fees

The Victoria Police (Fees & Charges) Regulations 2014 are effective from 1 July, 2014.
