Epping Police officers thought they had seen it all, before they were called to reports of a man urinating on a vehicle in Epping on Monday night.
Local security staff alerted police to the incident taking place in a carpark near Cooper Street about 7pm.
The officers were in the vicinity on foot patrol at the time.
Swift acting police interrupted the incident mid-stream, surprised to find that the vehicle in question was their police car.
A 27-year-old Lalor man was told to zip it, which offered little relief.
He was issued with a penalty notice for behaving in a riotous, indecent, offensive or insulting manner.
The fine slashed $790 from his bank account, really putting the ‘P’ in penalty.
