Marcia Ryan left her home in Victoria in a tan Mitsubishi Sigma sedan, registration DUP002.
She was travelling to Queensland to visit her parents.
She had a black and white heeler/border collie cross dog with her at the time.
Marcia's car was found abandoned on the Princes Highway near Moe.
Her wallet was found on the Princes Highway near Darnum approximately 23km away.
Marcia was last seen on 19 August 1996 in a distressed state by a truck driver. She declined a lift and kept walking along the highway.
